I think every tourist is required by law to drive to Hana while on Maui. It's a great drive if you love beautiful scenery and 40 miles of extremely windy roads. We stopped off at a waterfall on the way so Max could make this face.
Grandfather coaxed Reed into the chilly water and they had a blast playing in the waterfall.
Here we are at the sacred pools at the end of the road. The place was amazing! It was a long drive so don't expect the boys to look at the camera.
Oh, Sam. Do you remember this beautiful road to Hana when you were a teenager? You and Ashley were so mad we made you go that you were a pain the whole way there and back. You wouldn't even get out of the car when we stopped. What a difference a few years makes!
Ah, we were in Maui almost at the same time! So beautiful, I miss it! Our road to Hana adventure was not very pleasant though. I need another 10 years before I'll do it again. Hope you guys had a fun trip, sure looks like you did. :)
A blog, A blog...I can't believe we have a blog. Yay!!! Now I don't have to feel bad for not scrapbooking or writing in my journal. Hopefully I'll do better with this type of journal since the last entry in my personal journal went something like this. "Well..I guess a lot has happened since I last wrote. Sam came home from his mission, we got engaged, got married, graduated from BYU and are now expecting our first baby!"
